I’m planning to set up a community forum using Forumax and I’m looking for theme recommendations. What are the best WordPress themes that work well with forum plugins?
My requirements:
- Clean, modern design
- Good mobile responsiveness
- Compatible with Elementor
- Active support and updates
Budget isn’t a huge concern – I’m willing to invest in a premium theme if it’s worth it. What are your favorites?

- Docy – Documentation theme with excellent forum support and dark mode
- Flavor – Clean and minimal design
- Hello Starter theme – Lightweight base for custom designs
For the best experience, I’d recommend Docy as it’s designed specifically for documentation and community sites.
