How to Install and Configure Forumax?
Hi everyone!
I just installed the Forumax plugin and I’m wondering about the best way to configure it for my website. I’ve already activated it, but I’m not sure about the optimal settings.
Specifically, I’d like to know:
- What are the recommended initial settings?
- How do I set up the forum page?
- Can I customize the appearance to match my theme?

Great questions. Here’s a quick setup guide:
1. Initial Settings:
- Go to Forumax → Settings
- Enable “Solved Topics” feature
- Configure voting if needed
- Set up your brand colors
2. Create Forum Page:
- Create a new page (e.g., “Forums”)
- Add the [bbp-forum-index] shortcode
- Or use the Forumax Elementor widgets
3. Customization:
The plugin works with most themes. You can customize colors through Forumax → Settings → Appearance.
